Thus Debian 6.0 runs smoothly without any problem. A dependency based boot system has been incorporated into Debian 6.0. The boot system makes system start-up much faster and more robust due to parallel execution of boot scripts and correct dependency tracking between them.

Debian 6.0 could be installed from numerous installation medias like Blu-ray Discs, DVDs, CDs, USB stick and internet. GNOME is the default desktop environment and is available on the first CD.
